PassXpress. Try pushing down on the mirror adjuster. It has the function to fold mirrors in when in tight spots. locking/unlocking will not unfold mirrors when this is used though you have to push the switch down again. With no keys in the ignition, or the car locked up, the red light will flash once every second. This is normal and means the immobiliser is set. When you turn the ignition on, the red light should come on for a second then go out. If this happens, the car is happy with the key and you don't have a car key problem.
