Feb 7, 2019 · For the past 2 days I haven't disabled it and it hasn't stopped while the car isn't moving. Even with the heater off , wipers off, radio off, it doesn't stop start anymore. No error codes. I will call next week to see what the dealer has to say. This is only the second issue with the car.

I own a 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta and I bloody love it. It’s my first car and it’s amazing but there’s one problem, my drivers side door will not unlock remotely!!! I can put the key in the door and it’s grand but the unlocking button on the key opens all but the drivers side! I have read replacing the key battery might fix it.

Had this issue in my ‘18 Giulia base. According to an Alfa service mechanic, the check engine light automatically disables remote start and start/stop. Our issue disappeared on its own after a day of sitting in the driveway and hasn’t returned. About 4,500 miles. Could be a loose battery terminal.
